Jonathan has worked in study abroad in Spain since 2011. He first came to Spain as a university student, where he developed a deep appreciation for the country’s language, culture, and people. Today, he finds great fulfillment in helping students pursue their own transformative study abroad experiences. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, his position allows him to share several of his core passions: teaching language and culture, leading educational travel, and promoting health and well-being through volunteer instruction.
Jonathan earned his B.A. in Spanish and Communications from Texas Tech University, where he later completed both his M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish and Portuguese Literatures. He enjoys exploring all that Spain has to offer—particularly its natural landscapes, from beautiful beaches to the diverse network of hiking trails across the country.
